Neomodern
Neomodern is a term used to describe a "new simplicity" in art and in reaction to the complexity of postmodern architecture and eclecticism.
Neomodern also denotes the contemporary period, from the framework of assuming that the postmodern period is "waning" and that the central question of the present is how to avoid the predatory results of market economies without asserting a "pre-modern anti-capitalism".
This style uses plastic forms of Art Nouveau based on the modern technological basis deprived of ornaments and sophisticated details. It incorporates the elements of Cubism, Abstract and Pop Art with the successful ability to address the needs of contemporary society post WWII.
